I hold an M.A. in Special Education from the University of San Francisco and worked as a Special Education teacher for over a decade. During that time, I participated in hundreds of IEP meetings, wrote and revised goals, reviewed assessments, and supported students with a wide range of learning needs. 

Special education can feel complex and overwhelming. I created this site to help parents understand the process clearly and participate with confidence. When the system is easier to understand, families feel calmer, more prepared, and better able to support their child’s success.
